1. What is currently observed
Tab sessionStorage holds demo onboarding/tour preferences, first-visit and notification read state, and review suppression. In-memory feedback and temporary evidence object URLs are not durable cookies. Authentication can persist session tokens in browser storage through the managed client; preview storage uses a platform broker. The hidden legacy cart provider remains mounted for rollback and reads/writes localStorage under sapphire-bag, including any saved item descriptions, identifiers and quantities; this can survive refresh. It does not enable visible purchases.
No app-controlled advertising, cross-site profiling or optional analytics script was identified. Platform hosting, preview diagnostics and authentication may have their own cookies/logs; their names, purposes, duration and PECR exemptions need verification. This is not a complete certified cookie scan or a claim that no cookies are ever set.
2. External requests and separate websites
Remote Google Fonts and OpenStreetMap tiles make network requests. YouTube/social and legacy Shopify links open external websites with separate cookie rules; the homepage YouTube feature does not embed a video player. Browser permission for a microphone is distinct from cookie or marketing consent. Declining recording does not opt you into marketing.
3. Choices and launch requirements
You can manage site storage through your browser’s site settings. Clearing authentication storage can sign you out, and clearing tab preferences resets demo personalization. Device downloads remain separately on your device. No ‘accept/reject’ control is shown that falsely claims to block a tracker we have not configured.
Before launch, perform a deployed-site storage/network inventory. If non-essential tracking is introduced, block it until valid consent, provide equally accessible accept/reject and granular choices, record and allow withdrawal, and keep strictly necessary functions separate. Optional product announcements use their own opt-in, not a cookie banner or blanket privacy consent.
